The BBC series on which Netflix's House of Cards is based on lasted only three seasons and Frank was killed off in the last chapter.

Hillary Clinton Thinks Show Is 'Bad TV'?

Although the Netflix adaptation has strayed quite far from the original series, some major plot points need to be addressed. The main one being will Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) meet a grisly death as he has often executed for his enemies and thorns in his path. In season 4 we reckon he might way more susceptible as his greatest strength has left his side. Also, Claire (Robin Wright) left with a greta degree of vengefulness and hatred toward Frank in the conclusion on season 3.

Claire knows all of Frank's darkest secrets and while she could be motivated to kill him, he might also be targetting her for fear of her spilling his crimes.

New Characters To Threaten Frank In Season 4?

Yet it seems like Frank will have fewer and fewer allies this time around, and if somebody were to plot his end, he would be way more vulnerable to succumbing to the bullet of an assasin. In the original, Francis, somewhat submits to his plotted assasination.

But yet, it seems like Netflix is going to try to reap more benefits from this succesful franchise and might not be satisfied with just four seasons, and without Frank the story might not endure.

Season 4 of House of Cards will premiere in 2017.
