His wife, Ashley Fleetwood, took to Facebook to express the tragedy: "Daniel put up an amazing fight to the very end. He is now one with God and with the force," Ashley captioned a photo of the two. "He passed in his sleep and in peace. He will always be my idol and my hero."

The exclusive screening for Fleetwood was granted with the help of an online campaign called #ForceForDaniel, which saw an outpouring of tributes on Twitter, with many thanking JJ Abrams and his production company Bad Robot for having allowed the preview screening, reports from ABC News say.
