Two new Real Housewives installments have been added to the hit Bravo franchise.

Andy Cohen Hints That New 'Real Housewives' Cities Could Soon Be Added?

On Wednesday, Bravo officially announced the news of The Real Housewives of Potomac, which will debut in January, as well as the second upcoming installment, The Real Housewives of Dallas, which will be launched in late 2016.

“The Real Housewives of Potomac is the show you never saw coming, and it’s going to take everyone by surprise!,” Real Housewives creator Andy Cohen said in a statement, via Us Weekly. “As for The Real Housewives of Dallas, it's a natural extension of the franchise with a Southern twist that y’all will enjoy.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac cast consists of six women, including Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby, “all of whom have fought for their places in this society by way of legacy or marriage,” according to the press release.

“Its rolling hills, gated mansions, sophisticated prep schools, and exclusive country clubs all serve to keep the area invitation-only,” the release explained of the Maryland town. “Sprinkled throughout this community are a handful of old-line, wealthy African-American families who have historically broken racial barriers to provide the best life possible for their children. In a town where entry is granted only through class, pedigree, and lineage, how far will these ladies go to secure their spot at the top of this prestigious circle?”
