Then, when Cohen was further questioned about when fans could potentially hear something about a new Real Housewives show, he said, “Sooner than you think.”

The Real Housewives franchise debuted on Bravo in 2006 with The Real Housewives of Orange County. From there, Cohen added The Real Housewives of New York City, The Real Housewives of Atlanta and The Real Housewives of New Jersey, all of which continue to air on Bravo. Then, in Aug. 2010, Cohen released his first unsuccessful Real Housewives franchise, which was based out of Washington, D.C., and lasted just one season. The Real Housewives of Miami was also somewhat unsuccesfull, airing for three seasons before coming to an end in 2013.

Also in 2010, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills made its debut, but unlike The Real Housewives of D.C., the series was a huge success and continues to capture impressive ratings.
