In recent years, Cyrus has been successful in shedding her good-girl Disney image, starting with the release of new music in 2013. At the time, Cyrus hired Britney Spears' former manager, Larry Rudolph, in hopes of taking a new direction, which she did in a big way.

In the years since, Cyrus has been known for her racy behavior, including her alleged drug use, and outrageous antics during her shows. She's also participated in a number of shocking photoshoots, but none of them really compare to her Candy Magazine spread.

As The Cut explained on Friday, "Cyrus does her thing in nine different shots, posing naked with a cat, dressed as a fireman, and spending some nice quality time with a giant strap-on."
