Miley Cyrus' Latest Magazine Pictorial Takes 'NSFW' To The Max

While the singer and actress has become known for her racy behavior in recent years, her new shoot with famed photographer Terry Richardson appears to take the cake, and inside the magazine, Cyrus stood up for a cause close to her heart: gender fluidity.

"What was really fun about the shoot for C☆NDY was being able to involve the aesthetic of myself and Terry but also Happy Hippie," Cyrus explained, via The Advocate, of the LGBT organization she established in an effort to aid youth. "It’s allowing me to break the wall for what a woman should be."

In August, Cyrus spoke to Elle UK, confirming she identified herself as "pansexual."

"I am literally open to every single thing that is consenting and doesn't involve an animal and everyone is of age," Cyrus added to Paper Magazine, around the same time. "Everything that's legal, I'm down with. Yo, I'm down with any adult — anyone over the age of 18 who is down to love me."

Cyrus appears on the cover of the ninth edition of C☆NDY Magazine, which is a "transversal" fashion publication. In previous issues, the magazine has included photos of James Franco in drag, and photos with Laverne Cox and Janet Mock.

Luis Venegas, the magazine's editor, creative director, and publisher, shared Cyrus' comment above to The Advocate.
