Princess Diana may have passed away almost two decades ago, but she's still managing to make headlines - and not always for the right reasons. A new rumor suggests her daughter-in-law Kate Middleton is doing everything she can to save her late mother-in-law's reputation from the "ever-meddling" Camilla Parker-Bowles.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry on Thursday, Camilla is urging Prince Harry to get a paternity test done to once and for all put the rumors to rest as to who is his real biological father. It's long been speculated that Princess Diana had a secret affair with James Hewitt, who Prince Harry happens to resemble a lot in the looks department.

The site says that despite Camilla's insistence, both Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William are putting their foot down as they think a paternity test at this point is useless - Prince Charles will always consider Prince Harry to be his son.

To make things worse, James himself is getting involved; he plans on selling Princess Diana's handwritten love notes to him from the 1980's. The site explains, "The letters are a reminder that Princess Diana also had affairs and Camilla undoubtedly loves to point that out. It's hardly a surprise that Camilla is jumping all over the James Hewitt and Princess Diana love letter scandal."

Blogger Bianca added, "Much to Camilla's chagrin, Kate Middleton and Prince William won't stand for it. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have already planned to fight back, saving Princess Diana's secrets and outshining the love letter scandal."

So far, Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the rumors.
