Even though Princess Charlotte is the youngest member of the British Royal Family, it looks like her mother Kate Middleton wants her daughter's feet firmly grounded with "commoner" roots. In fact, there's a new report that says the Duchess is hoping that her daughter will one day join the Girl Scouts so she can not only mingle with "normal" friends outside of the Palace, but so she could learn to be compassionate and help those in need.

Kate Middleton Is Being Criticized For Shielding Her Children

According to People Magazine on Friday, the Duchess came up with the idea during her recent tour to help promote the needs of those suffering from mental health issues. Although technically, Princess Charlotte won't be a Girl Scout, but a Girl Guide, as the organization is referred as in the U.K.

Girl Guides county commissioner Jill Wilkinson told the site, "She said that she needs to put Charlotte's name down for Rainbows," which his the equivalent to the Daisy group in the U.K.

Kate Middleton Expecting Her Third Child Already?

Meanwhile, there was another rumor that said the Duchess along with her husband Prince William supposedly "despise" social media.

Writing in the Daily Beast earlier this month, Tom Sykes points out that even though the Duke and Duchess are part of the social media generation, they apparently "don't get" the idea behind Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Sykes goes on to slam The Cambridges' use of social media as "clunky" and the Palace-run Kensington Royal Twitter account has a tone that "has been utterly bewildering and completely non-uniform. It's hard to avoid the impression that the social media account is being updated by an unpaid intern."

So far, Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the report.
