Reality star Lisa Hochstein filed a lawsuit against an online commenter who wrote that the socialite was once a call girl who performed in adult films.

Hochstein, 29, said Jessica Lederman caused her "severe emotional distress" after she wrote in the comments section of an entertainment website that "The Real Housewives of Miami " star was once "an escort who also did soft porn in Vegas," according to TMZ.

Lederman reportedly wrote the salacious comment as a response to an article about Hochstein joining the second season of "The Real Housewives of Miami." Hochstein responded to the remarks by filing a petition stating that the racy past Lederman described in her report is completely untrue, and that her comment "damaged her reputation and threatened both her employment and social life." Hochstein asked for more than $15,000 in damages.

Hochstein, who debuted on the second season of "The Real Housewives of Miami," is a friend of season one cast member Adriana de Moura-Sidi. She described herself as a "professional housewife," according to Bravo's official website, and she is married to plastic surgeon Dr. Lenny Hochstein -who reportedly calls himself the "Boob God" of Miami. On the show Lisa said she is her husband's "best creation."

The couple wed in their mansion in 2009.

Lisa appeared in Playboy three times but admitted that she regrets posing for the magazine, telling The Huffington Post in November 2012, "It's something I did, but it's something I kind of wish I didn't do."

"At the time I really glamourized it, but it was a really glamorous thing then. But now those pictures are out there for everyone to see, and it's not something I'm proud of," she added.
