As Farahan's Shahs Of Sunset co-star continued to face backlash due to the end of his marriage, and his past infidelity, Farahan took to social media, where he told fans that "everyone makes mistakes." However, rather than convincing the masses to go easy on his friend, Farahan ended up being targeted by homophobic statements.
"So I post a pic supporting my boy @mikeshouhed and this comes out of left field," Farahan captioned a screenshot on Instagram, which featured a man's hateful comments. "Sometimes it's necessary to expose hateful/ignorant people that use this kind of language. Because people that may be dealing with their own sexuality can see that this has nothing to do with them and everything to do with the ignorance of the person spewing the hate."

While Farahan and Shouhed had an up-and-down relationship on past seasons of Shahs Of Sunset, mainly due to Farahan's ongoing feud with Shouhed's soon-to-be ex-wife, the two men appear to have made amends, and during season five, fans will likely see their reconciled friendship.
The man behind the hateful comments to Farahan appears to have deleted his account from Instagram.
