It looks like life after Dance Moms isn't so bad after all. Just ask Paige and Brooke Hyland, who seem to be flourishing since they left the popular reality television show to pursue their own career in the dancing world.

According to OK! Magazine, the dancing sisters opened up about life after leaving Abby Lee Miller's studio and how they are still holding on to the limelight, even though they are no longer on the small screen.

Explaining why they decided to leave the show, mom Kelly said that she enjoys being a stay-at-home mom now and watching her children have a "normal" life.

She said, "That was one of my problems being on the show. Having my kids do normal activities that kids their age do. They wanted to go to school dances and do that kind of stuff and they were never allowed."

The girls were also present at the Nickelodeon HALO Awards, where they interacted with fans and took pictures on the red carpet.

Paige said of the event, "It was a lot of fun. It was different than any other award show we've ever been to. There were a lot of different activities to do and we were actually interacting with everyone and the fans."

Older sister Brooke also said that while she is still fully dedicated to dancing, she's also looking to start college in the fall. She said she's "applying all over the place" to schools in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

As far as their post-Dance Moms life Kelly added, "We're just happy to be moving on an moving forward with happy things."
