Everton vs West Brom takes place on Wednesday night in the English Premier League with Everton hoping to continue their push for fourth place in the EPL. The game kicks off at 7.45 p.m. UK time and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.

Everton are currently fifth in the EPL and have 38 points from their 23 games so far. They currently lie in the spot reserved to qualify for the Europa League. However, they will only have their sights on one thing right now and that is a push for the top four spots and a potential Champions League placing.

At the moment Spurs occupy fourth spot and are three points ahead of Everton. Spurs also have a three goal better goal difference than Everton. However, Everton will be hoping that they can claim a home win against West Brom tonight and that Tottenham will fall in their away match against Norwich. if so they can potentially leap frog Spurs into the fourth spot.

Even if Spurs win then Everton will be hoping to also claim three points to keep the pressure up on Tottenham for the prestigious top 4 placing. If Everton lose tonight they will risk falling 6 points below Spurs and that would significantly damage their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League competition as the season moves into the final third.

Everton will also know that Arsenal are playing tonight, and face a tricky game against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium. Should Arsenal fail to win and Everton win tonight then the Toffees will be able to open up a larger gap on their rivals. The Gunners currently lie in 6th position in the EPL and are just a point below Everton, with Arsenal having a far superior goal difference.

Everton will be keen not to allow the Gunners to displace them and go above them tonight.
