Early this morning, Tiffany Thornton's husband, Christopher Carney, was involved in a single-vehicle crash, which left him and another man dead.

According to a report, Carney, the father of the Sonny With A Chance star's two children, was a passenger in a white SUV that crashed into a tree on a highway in Arkansas.

"Two Hot Springs men were killed about 1:40 a.m. in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 70 about six miles east of Hot Springs," the State Police said, according to a report by the Arkansas Times on Friday. "They were Ezekiel Blanton, 37, and Christopher Carney, 35, son of Hot Springs Mayor Ruth Carney. Blanton was driving and Carney was a passenger. The car was westbound, toward Hot Springs."

In a second report, via TMZ, a few more details were given in regard to the former reality star's untimely passing.

Carney and Blanton "wrecked early Friday morning when their car flew off the road while going around a bend and slammed into a tree. At least one was ejected from the car, which was driven by Blanton," the site revealed, adding that both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

"Carney was on the MTV reality show 'twentyfourseven,' and was the lead singer of the group Prom Kings," TMZ explained further. "Chris and Tiffany--star of 'Sonny with a Chance'--have been married since 2011. Just last year they moved back to Hot Springs, AR ... where Chris' mother is mayor."
