These days it seems like Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald just can't get a break from their critics, no matter what they do or say. Even though they've mostly been trying to stay out of the spotlight after the birth of their son Spurgeon Elliot last month, both fans and critics alike are accusing the couple of being "selfish freeloaders" after receiving hundreds of gifts for their newborn tot.

Jessa's Instagram followers didn't seem very pleased after the reality star shared a photo of a post-birth baby shower that her friends from her church threw for her. Many are saying that a post-birth baby shower is bad etiquette and that the couple should consider donating their gifts rather than keeping them.

The new mother captioned her pic with, "The sweet women at our church threw a shower for our little guy! The decorations were so cute, and the desserts were fantastic! Thanks, ladies!"

Many of her social media followers commented almost immediately on the photo with, "Give the gifts to a shelter. You had what: more than 100 at the first one????? Go celebrate some struggling moms instead of continuing the "I had a baby" thing," along with, "Selfish free loaders. Tell your baby husband to get a job."

Another critic said, "Because the requested gift cards from fans wasn't enough?"

So far, neither Jessa nor her husband Ben have made any comments about the criticism. Keep up with Enstars for all the latest news on all of the Duggars right here.
