There is no doubt that this has been one of the hardest years of Anna Duggar's life, thanks to her husband's multiple sex scandals from earlier this year, but it looks like she has no room or time to sit around and cry all day. In fact, there's a new report that suggests the Duggar family is being slammed for "exploiting" the young mother-of-four by making her go on television to tell her side of the story.

According to Entertainment Tonight on Friday, the Duggars are at odds over Jill and Jessa's spin-off show, Jill and Jessa: Still Counting, as no one knows what direction to take the show moving forward. What's more, some are arguing that Anna shouldn't be involved in the spin-off show at all, while there are also whispers that say parents Jim Bob and Michelle are heavily encouraging her to help debunk rumors about her husband and hopefully gain some viewer sympathy in the process, too.

A source told the site that "certain members of the family are more focused on ratings and a paycheck than actually focusing on the issues at hand."

The insider also added that some members of the Duggar family have "chosen not to participate in the special out of respect to the serious ordeal the family has been going through in the last months."

What's more, it looks like fans have been torn about the decision, too. Some commented, "Just goes to show you no matter what money talks ... TLC should let this show go for good," along with, "I'm not interested in Anna at all. Only Jessa and Jill and their new husbands & babies. I agree that Anna should not be in the media now or any time in the future. Perhaps she needs the money though."

So far the Duggars have not commented on any of the criticism.
