Meek Mill 2015: Nicki Minaj Begs Judge Not To Send Boyfriend To Jail

Nicki Minaj has taken a bold step to prove she’s a ride or die chick for her boyfriend Meek Mill.

Nicki headed to court with Meek Thursday to testify to a judge in hopes of helping him avoid jail time. The two sparked their relationship while he was in jail this time last year and now she is doing all she can to make sure he doesn’t have to go back behind bars.

At least not on her watch, according to TMZ Thursday.

Interestingly enough, he was in court for a judge to decide if he violated his probation when he left his hometown of Philadelphia to escort Nicki to the American Music Awards earlier this month. It looks like he simply did not go through the right channels to get a pass to go to the epic show.

His legal team also pointed out his relationship with Nicki and said he plans her marrying her. And he knows he would have no chance if he was a “criminal or bum,” so he wants to make sure he keeps his life on the right track.

Nicki also spoke and said she is confident Meek will not mess up. She even requested that the judge sit with her and Meek personally so she can convince the judge that Meek is on the straight and narrow. On top of that, Nicki said that Meek is not the best at scheduling his time to leave town. But she vowed that he would not face anymore violation trials if she was in charge of keeping his calendar intact.

Still, the judge wasn’t too impressed with Meek’s behavior in court and recessed the trial until next week. It’s possible he could get sent back to jail.
