The "Flawless" singer is reportedly getting back into acting when she agreed to star in the remake of A Star is Born, Page Six tells the story.

Insiders reveal that actor Bradley Cooper is moving ahead with his planned directorial debut and Beyonce is on board. Entertainment Tonight previously reported that Clint Eastwood decided to drop the remake of the movie last October 2012 due to scheduled conflict.

“Beyoncé is a go,” said a source of Cooper’s remake of movie. A Star is Born follows a film star, Norman Maine, who helps a young singer and actress, Vicki Lester/Esther Blodgett, find fame. Beyoncé would be starring as Vicki, which was previously played by Judy Garland in 1954 and Barbara Streisand in 1976, ET wrote.

As we all know, Beyonce is not new in the film industry since she had notable works such as leading roles in 2002's Austin Powers' in Goldmember, followed by Dreamgirls in 2006 and Obsessed in 2009.
