Jodi Arias testified Wednesday, day 14 of her first-degree murder trial, sharing details of the different religions she explored, how she met murder victim Travis Alexander and how their sexual relationship began after they met in 2006.

Arias, 32, testified she met Alexander for the first time at a PrePaid Legal Services convention in Las Vegas in September 2006, when she lived in California. Arias said she noticed Alexander immediately because he had a strong presence, "like he had a purpose." She assumed he was going to walk past her but instead he walked over to her and introduced himself.

"So I stepped out of the way because I thought he needed to walk past me. But, he stopped right in front of me and stuck his hand out and introduced himself," she said.

They later attended an executive director banquet at the convention together. They did not become romantically involved during the Las Vegas business trip because she was seeing someone else in California at the time.

"I'm kinda like a one-guy-at-a-time kind of person," Arias said. "So, I didn't want to have anything overlapping and I knew there was an interest with Travis. And I was beginning to sort of develop the seeds of interest with Travis. And I didn't want to be in a relationship when I went there."

Arias said she broke up with her boyfriend when she returned to California and weeks later went to visit Arias in Arizona. He arranged for her to stay overnight at one of his friends' homes. During her stay Alexander went to visit her and snuck into the guest bedroom she slept in - that is when they made out for the first time.

"We all went to bed and he came into the bedroom I was been staying in," Arias testified. "I assume there was probably going to be some kissing or some kind of talking or hanging out. We had talked every night that entire week. So, that's when we kissed."

Arias admitted that after they kissed and he removed her clothes, and she didn't stop him because she "didn't want to tell him no."

"So, I just kept going with it," she added.

The pair had mutual oral sex and fell asleep together. She admitted the experience felt like "too much too soon" and that it "was uncomfortable."

Alexander, a devout Mormon, may have felt guilty about the liaison because he later left a voicemail message stating that he felt "displeasure with himself" following the make out session. The next morning the pair went to church together and parted ways. They met up again several weeks later at a hotel in Arizona and another time outside of a coffee shop.

When they met for coffee, the pair made out in his car because Alexander was "horny." The motivational speaker then asked for oral sex.

"At this point in time, based on what you told us, our understanding you had no penile/vaginal sex with Mr. Alexander?" defense attorney Kirk Nurmi asked Arias.

"No," Arias replied.

Nurmi then asked, "And it would also be our understanding that you had not had anal sexual intercourse with Mr. Alexander?"

"Yes, that is correct," said Arias. "I felt an attraction to him and the feeling was mutual and I wanted to, I just wanted to, I don't know. I wanted to do what he wanted to do."

Arias said after she performed oral sex on him, he put on his pants and they then parted ways.

"He refused to kiss me because he said it was gross ... maybe because I had been performing oral sex, but he kissed me on the cheek and then left," Arias testified.

Arias' testimony is scheduled to resume on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
