Many countries and people from all over the world has suffered from the aftermath of natural force disasters such as earthquakes. Thousands of people die from the inevitable circumstances.

During an earthquake, the standard protection for protecting oneself is to stand under a doorway. Seems like it only provides too little protection from a collapsing building. Worst case is when you're sleeping in the middle of the night and then the sudden disaster strikes.

But what if your bed can automatically protect you?

Chinese inventor Wang Wenxi has uniquely designed a bed that offers a lot of protection to people from falling metals and debris when the unavoidable earthquake occurs. He patented the design in 2010 and has continued to develop his design since then.

It may seem a little uncomfortable like a burial vault but I'm sure it's designed to be opened easily from the inside. Plus it's stocked with provisions to keep you well-fed until the rescue arrives.
