Joining ZTE's Axon flagship series will be a larger 6.0-inch sibling phablet, the Axon Max. Living up to its name, the Axon Max offers maximum hardware specs and quality build for a modest price. According to a news release, the Axon Max is optimized for both business and entertainment, offering a broad range of versatility for work and play. For a truly immersive user experience, ultra-slim bezels surround the phone's 6-inch 2.5D Super AMOLED FHD screen. With integrated Hi-Fi audio playback, the Axon Max is your go-to device for streaming music, watching movies or TV shows and playing your favorite game apps when you're on the move.

Running out of power shouldn't be a concern since ZTE equipped the Axon Max with a generously high capacity 4140mAh rechargeable battery. Quick Charge 2.0 USB-type C port lets you juice up your phone is a little as 30 minutes so you can spend less time charging and more time getting things done. Tagged with a moderate price, the Axon ZTE sells in China for CNY 2,799 or $431. The phone debuted on the market wearing all-gold-everything, with more color options expected to land before 2016. While ZTE didn't provide any information on the Axon Max's availability in other parts of the globe, the Chinese smartphone maker expressed its business outlook.

"Our flagship series is the core of ZTE's strategy. The Axon Max may be the final building block of this bold line of devices, but it is really just the next step in what we believe will be a far-reaching dynasty of premium products with vision for what tomorrow's users need," CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices, Adam Zeng said in a statement.
