This year, Miss USA is Olivia Jordan, someone who wants the crown, according to Hollywood Life. It's been three years since a contestant from the United States won though so time will tell who snatches the prize.

The pageant will be hosted by Steve Harvey with performances from The Band Perry and Seal.

The winner of last year's tournament was Miss Colombia Paulina Vega who had some interesting things to say about plastic surgery. In a report from Huffington Post, Vega said she isn't totally against someone going under the knife as long as it's not taken too far.

"I agree, but not when they use this new technology, this new tool excessively," Vega said. "I think that you should always retain your original body because we were all born beautiful."

The winner then mentioned how she felt pretty confident she would win since she wanted to inspire others.

"I have great aspirations with this, because I want to be an excellent leader, an excellent example for girls and teens," she said. "I want them to know that physical beauty isn't all that matters, but also what he have in our minds and in our hearts, the important of loving ourselves, each other and the planet."
