Reality star Todd Chrisley joined fans in the conversation last night after Steve Harvey named the wrong contestant as Miss Universe (he crowned Miss Colombia as the winner when really Miss Philippines won the title).

Why Is Todd Chrisley Threatening To ‘Block’ His Son Chase On Twitter?

But instead of slamming the talk show host like many did, Chrisley defended his good friend against the backlash.

He began by encouraging Harvey and wrote, “you are a class act my friend, s*** happens, just ask me…”

His supportive message for Harvey was met with lots of criticism from his followers and even some fans. But in true Chrisley fashion, he wasn’t afraid to send special messages to them, too.

Some were hit with the reality that Chrisley actually supported Harvey as they asked, “What would @toddchrisley say?”

Chrisley responded to some and said, “its called a mistake, and as humans we all make them, @IAmSteveHarvey is one of the greatest.”

He also dubbed Harvey a “professional” when a follower mentioned that there could have been problems with production. Chrisley added, “And with all that beauty any man would be distracted.”

As for Miss Colombia, Chrisley said she will be just fine.

“please, this woman is absolutely stunning, bigger things are coming [her] way.”

He didn’t let a language barrier stop him from going off either. He told one fan who said something to him in Spanish, “well we know why you weren’t on the stage you classless troll.”

He then sent out a tweet for any other fan who wanted to follow suit and throw shade in Spanish.
