Taylor Lianne Chandler is blaming Michael Phelps for her suicide attempt.

On Monday, National Enquirer posted details from the woman who continues to claim that she was in a relationship with the Olympic swimmer last year. According to the site, Chandler tried to take her own life last fall and her reason is because of her alleged ex.
"Michael was the reason I attempted suicide," she told the publication. "He has never denied our relationship, but he's never publicly acknowledged it, which hurts worse."

After the scandal spread all over the news in late 2014 that Chandler had a heartbreaking romance with the athlete, her life got harder and harder. She lost her job as a sign language interpreter and eventually starred in an X-rated video based on her suspected life with Phelps. She then dated someone else, which also ended, causing her to lose control.
"I was in pain, and felt I had no reason to live," Chandler said. "After being depressed for several days, on Oct. 14 I took about 50 morphine tablets, Ambien, Xanax and Valium."
The site said that Chandler was rescued by a friend who rushed to her house and dialed 911 after she got a phone call from Chandler. At this point in her life, the woman is trying to make peace with everything that happened.
"I'm still not over him," she said about Phelps. "I would like to talk to him one last time to have closure. But now I realize he isn't worth dying over."
