Engaged 'DWTS' Couple Maks Chmerkovskiy & Peta Murgatroyd Talk Baby Plans

Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd, who have competed as pros in various seasons of ABC's Dancing With the Stars, spoke with ABC's Good Morning America this week about their engagement and wedding plans.

"I'm just going on record--this is the biggest record I can go on--and saying that I have zero to do with planning anything for the rest of our lives together," Chmerkovskiy quipped. "I'm just showing up where I'm told. This is where I end."

Chmerkovskiy also spoke about their past, with the pair dating in 2012 before calling it off a year later, only to start dating again last fall.

"I personally knew when we got back together, this was for a reason--not just 'Oh, well we missed each other, but I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her,' and I think everyday since then we just got better, and stronger, and happier," he admitted.

Murgatroyd had to drop out of the most recent season of Dancing With the Stars before it could begin due to injuries. It remains to be seen if she will return for season 22 in the spring. Chmerkovskiy has retired from the dance competition after finally taking home the Mirrorball trophy in season 18 with Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis.

Dancing With the Stars returns for another season on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
