Oprah Winfrey snagged the first exclusive interview with Beyonce after she gave an electrifying performance on Feb. 3 at the Super Bowl 2013 halftime show.

Winfrey's interview with Beyoncé for Oprah's Next Chapter will air on Saturday on OWNThe 17-time Grammy-winning Halo singer opened up about several topics for the first time to the media mogul. The Houston native admitted that she didn't bounce back to her pre-pregnancy size immediately after she gave birth to her daughter Blue Ivy Carter on Jan. 7, 2012.

Beyonce said she gained a whopping 57 pounds during her pregnancy and felt pressure to lose the weight because her first public appearance was scheduled for three months after she gave birth.

"I did a show three months after giving birth, which was crazy," Beyonce told Winfrey. "I had clearly never given birth, and I didn't know that I would gain 60 pounds-57 pounds."

The 31-year-old worked hard to get back in shape because after she gave birth, she "really wanted to know" if she still had any interest in performing again. The first show she gave three months after the baby was born helped her realize that she still wants to perform.

"I feel so fortunate to do my job. I love my job," Beyonce said. "I love singing. I love the way it feels."

Beyonce credited her husband, rap mogul Jay-Z, for helping her become the woman that she is.

"I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man," she said, adding that their relationship "just gives me such a foundation."

Beyonce premiered her HBO documentary Life Is But A Dream Tuesday night at Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City and Winfrey was there to celebrate with her, according to the International Business Times.

Winfrey told the audience before the film was screened that Beyonce did a good job of telling her own story in her documentary.

"She did an amazing job...People are going to be amazed," Winfrey said. "People are going to feel a connection to her that they didn't feel before. Because she shows us how real she is. She understands that all pain is the same. The way she hurts is the same way other people have hurt."

"I think the documentary is a game changer," she added.
