While Lira Galore has no problem making a name for herself, she has confirmed that she and rapper Rick Ross have split for good after speculation swirled that she hooked up with another rapper. But was the alleged affair the reason for the split just weeks after Rick popped the question to her?

Rick Ross Romancing A College Student After Lira Galore Split?

Galore got candid with Global Grind in an interview released Wednesday.

She made it clear that she and Rick are no more but didn’t hesitate to open up as to why after the couple faced rumors that she got too close to Wiz Khalifa, and she even dug up her past with Meek Mill, who is on Rick’s MMG label. She said this marked her first public romance.

Rick Ross Has Lots To Say About Rumors That Lira Galore Cheated With Another Rapper

“I think the initial breakup was a combination of everything from people digging up tweets when I was 17-years-old tweeting about different people, to the picture of Meek [Mill]. I went to (Ross’) tagged photos one day and it was only that picture of Meek, and it was just that photo. Everybody just kept posting it and I felt like as a man, he just couldn’t handle it when it was nothing. I feel like during that time apart he realized he was tripping, so we got back together.”

Still, while the two coupled it up for Paper magazine, it wasn’t enough for them to stay together.

“We just decided to go our separate ways. I’m 22 and this was my first time in love and I put it out there. I’m still in love with him, but some things don’t go as you would like them to go.”

She revealed the two initially met when she was in Lil Wayne’s Thug Cry video and connected shortly after.

“We exchanged numbers and the rest is history.”
