This recipe by Tasty Food is perfect for people who don't have access to ovens. When a cake is cooked in a slow cooker and apparently a rice cooker, the cake comes out moist and dense.

For the Blue Velvet Cake ingredients, you need a white cake mix, 1/4 cup of buttermilk, 1/3 cup of oil, 3 eggs, 1 Tbsp. of cocoa powder and 2 tsp of royal blue food color.

For the Cream Cheese Frosting ingredients, you need 8 oz of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of butter, 4 cups of powdered sugar and 2 tsp of vanilla. You can also have blueberries and chocolate shavings as toppings, they're optional of course.

And for the procedure, just combine the blue velvet cake ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth. Pour cake batter into your rice cooker bowl. Place bowl into rice cooker and let it slow cook for 90 minutes. (All rice cooker are different. Check the "doneness" of your cake with a toothpick. If you insert the toothpick and it is clean, the cake is done.)

Once the cake is done cooking, remove from rice cooker and let it sit for 15 minutes to cool down. Flip over and out and cut in half. Chill in the refrigerator so it’s easier to ice.

Combine frosting ingredients in a bowl. Mix until smooth.

Start with the bottom half of the cake, spread some of the frosting and add a few blueberries. Top with the other half of the cake. Frost the cake however you like. Add some chocolate shavings (optional). Enjoy!
