Just days after Jessica Simpson faced rumors of a possible pregnancy, the singer and designer is facing rumors of a split from husband Eric Johnson.

After stepping out in a two-piece swimsuit, seemingly denying reports of a potential third child, a source spoke to OK! Magazine, claiming Simpson and her husband were arguing constantly.

According to the magazine's source on Tuesday, Simpson and Johnson's alleged marital troubles began during the holidays. Simpson would “run herself ragged getting ready for Christmas, with no help from Eric.”

As Simpson reportedly tends to the majority of their parenting duties, she is also running a fashion empire. Meanwhile, her husband is unemployed (Johnson was a former NFL tight end, but ended his career in 2008 after playing for the New Orleans Saints).

According to the source, Johnson's failure to work is an "ongoing issue" for his wife, and she's getting tired of "juggling work and the kids while he golfs.” However, the source added that while Simpson feels that she's doing the heavy lifting, so to speak, Johnson feels their dynamic is switched.

“He says he’s the one playing Mr. Mom because she’s always working out or at a business meeting,” said the insider.

Simpson and Johnson tied the knot in 2014 and share two kids, daughter Maxwell Drew, born on May 1, 2012, and son Ace Knute, born on June 30, 2013.
