Although there have been rumors claiming the actors will soon adopt a seventh child, a different report claims they have been living separate lives for over one year.

After Pitt and Jolie had “a series of relationship-ending fights” during the their family's Christmas vacation, “the day of reckoning is here," a source told In Touch Weekly, according to a report by Hollywood Life. Pitt “feels like she doesn’t listen,” according to the insider, “so he’s given up.”

While the couple has been focused on family since their Aug. 2014 wedding, their careers have recently taken priority, according to the report, which has led to marital troubles less than two years later.

“Dedicating their lives to film work, human rights and their children left them little time for each other,” the source told the magazine, and when Pitt and Jolie are together, they are rumored to be either “squabbling” or sitting in “frozen silence.”

Just two months ago, Jolie addressed her frequent tiffs with Pitt.

“We have fights and problems like any other couple,” she said during an interview with The Telegraph. “We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad and want space.”

“Their alone time [has] dissolved into a tense negotiation over how they’ll keep the family going after the divorce,” In Touch Weekly source continued, adding that post-split, Pitt and Jolie “will each spend time with their kids, individually and collectively, just like they’ve done in the past.”
