'Hit The Floor' Season 3 Episode 2: Derek Refuses To Let Asha Go [VIDEO]

Derek Roman was not kidding when he told Asha he would not stop fighting for her until she took him back on VH1’s Hit The Floor.

She’s cozying up to her first ex, German, but in true Derek fashion, he is unbothered by any competition. Of course, if Asha knew that was actually German who killed Olivia, Derek wouldn’t have to fight at all.

But since he does, he’s coming on extra strong in the new teaser for the popular scripted series.

In the teaser he catches up with her “not so randomly” in the park.

“We used to run this park together around this time,” he reminded her.

“Old habits I guess,” she said.

“Never break,” he fired back with his usual wit.

He tries to end the awkward moment by sparking up a little small talk, but it doesn’t help much. Until they catch up on his current status of what team he plans to play for next after she said she’s getting “good responses to my choreography.”

He tells her, “Thanks to the last six months I know my worth now. I need to be where everyone else is too…Your pops thinks I’m pushing the limit…I’m having no regrets in my life.”

He then leaves Asha there speechless.

“Have a good one Asha.”

She can’t help but to turn around and take a glance at him running away.

It definitely looks like there’s hope for Asha and Derek. After all, this kind of reminds us how he won her over the first time.
