Is K. Michelle Back With Bobby After The ‘Fake’ & ‘Unhealthy’ Relationship?

The highly anticipated premiere begins with K. Michelle giving a recap of what she’s been up to since season one ended. She lets fans know she relocated from The Big Apple to the West Coast of Los Angeles.

She took her “gay husband” Jonathan with her since he also needed a new lease on life.

While she is definitely focused on her career, we get to see more of her son, Chase, this season. She is seen giving him a hug and even shooting hoops with him in the teaser. And she’s taking a shot at her love life, much to her dismay.

Her friends introduce her to basically any man walking while she has an intimate conversation with none other than Safaree Samuels, the ex of Nicki Minaj. The two were rumored to be dating shortly after his split with Nicki, but they have maintained they are only friends.

She is definitely adjusting to the Los Angeles life as she sees a fan driving down the street and singing her song.

After the recap, K. Michelle meets up with her friend Miss Diddy to help her adjust to her newest house in Los Angeles. While she has a fresh start, she makes it clear she’s having trouble moving forward completely.

“The past always seems to tap me on my shoulder like ‘Where you goin?’”

She reveals her latest guy, Bobby, has been texting her and hoping to see her.

“He wants that old thang back.”

He vowed, “I got my life together. I’m ready to be your man.”

But K. Michelle doesn’t believe him.

“I’m really on the fence about Bobby…I’m looking at the text messages like ‘Do I answer back do I not?’ Is he really gonna disrupt this peace that I have in LA?’”

She then heads to the studio to work on her third studio album where Trina makes her appearance on the show. K. Michelle then admits she is thinking about leaving music if she can’t do it the way she wants.

See the premiere Monday night at 8:30/7:30c on VH1.
