An injured Kristen Stewart limped on stage Sunday at the Oscars to present an award alongside Daniel Radcliffe, but the Harry Potter actor said he was more than willing to help the Twilight star make her way to the podium.

"I felt so bad," Radcliffe said at the Governors Ball. "I just wanted to pick her up, put her in my arms and carry her onto the stage."

He then added with a laugh, "I probably would have dropped her and opened her wound again."

Stewart, 22, hobbled on crutches throughout the Oscars ceremony after cutting the bottom of her foot on glass. She met Anne Hathaway backstage following the Les Miserables star's Best Supporting Actress win and revealed the reason behind her injury, according to The Associated Press, to which Hathaway reportedly responded, "Oh on!"

"I know, I'm an idiot," Stewart - in a Reem Acra gown, Jimmy Choo heels and Fred Leighton jewelry - replied.

Stewart's team told Us Weekly that the actress was "really a trouper" after she "sliced her foot and everyone was worrying about would she wear heels or flats or one heel, crutches or no crutches."

Other presenters at the Academy Awards on Sunday included Michael Douglas, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd, Salma Hayek Pinault, Melissa McCarthy, Liam Neeson, John Travolta, Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon, Robert Downey Jr, Samuel L Jackson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo.
