The next episode of Blue Bloods will have a bit of an odd premise.

In a synopsis released on Carter Matt on Tuesday, a man gets murdered and Danny has to discover who killed him. But it won't be a mystery with no one coming forward- in fact, it'll pretty much be the opposite.

Apparently, a group of women who worked for this man are going to take credit for that. So it seems like Danny will have more on his hands as he figures out who's telling this truth and why so many women would lie over a thing like this.

Meanwhile, Frank gets advice from a priest on what to do about a boy who steals money from the church. But Frank will not like what he hears and might go about this his own way.

As if things aren't crazy enough, Nicky will get arrested with friends when the cops find drugs in her car. Not too much else was released on this storyline, but perhaps, the drugs won't belong to her. Or, will they?

Things are bound to get more bizarre since keeping the storylines new is one of the biggest challenges, according to actress Bridget Moynahan (who plays Erin on the series).

"I think the biggest challenge is trying to keep the work fresh," Moynahan previously told Phil Star. And you know, being on an ensemble, every script is different so sometimes my character might work a little bit and then, sometimes, it might work a lot."

Blue Bloods airs on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
