Ali Fedotowsky is having her first child, and blogging along the way.

'The Bachelorette' Ali Fedotowsky Lands Role in Woody Allen Movie 'Blue Jasmine'

In her latest entry, the former Bachelorette star opened up about the first trimester of her pregnancy.

"The first trimester was not fun and was really hard for me," Fedotowsky admitted to readers. "It was rough because I was sick all the time! I lost about 7lbs in my first trimester because I couldn’t really eat anything. I only ate clementines and dry toast for about a month between weeks 7-12."

"That was a big lunch #ImStuffed #PregnantBelly #HiBaby #2ndTrimester @kevinmanno," Fedotowsky captioned a recent Instagram photo, which featured the first look at her second trimester bump.

Following a split from Fedotowsky's fiance, Roberto Martinez, whom she met on The Bachelorette, the E! News corespondent began dating, and later became engaged to, radio and television host Kevin Manno.

Continuing on in her blog, Fedotowsky told readers that she wasn't surprised that her pregnancy wasn't all fun and games.

"My point in this blog entry is to share more of my journey, and share that pregnancy has been a lot harder so far than I thought it would be," she wrote. "There have been many tears. Tears of joy and tears from pain. But when something extraordinary happens in your life, it seems fitting that the road to get there wouldn’t be an easy one."
