It looks like Prince William and Kate Middleton are basically doing whatever it takes to distance themselves from Buckingham Palace, which is surely going to displease Queen Elizabeth. In fact, a new report says the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are trying to be as "normal" as possible, and that's why they've taken up a very un-royal new hobby.

Kate Middleton 'Disgusted' With Sarah Ferguson? 

According to the International Business Times on Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess are spending their free time as farmers now. Apparently, they have big plans to start a farm in their own backyard and have been taking small steps in growing their own vegetable bed at their Norfolk home in Anmer Hall.

Sources close to the royal couple even say that the Duchess is being very health-minded these days and that's why she wants to grow most of her family's food in their very own backyard.

One source dished, "They have also enlisted the help of expert Robin Parker, who is a cottage garden expert. Robin Parker will be helping the royals turn their backyard into a landscape of beautiful blooms and tasty vegetables."

And while the royal couple are being applauded for being eco-minded, many critics are still lashing out at them for doing very little when it comes to their royal responsibilities. In fact, Kate herself has even been dubbed "Duchess Dolittle" by the British media.
