If you were planning on having Chipotle for lunch today and got pretty mad when you learned you couldn't, you're in luck--the company has an amazing offer for you to make up for screwing with your lunch plans.

The company will be keeping all of its locations shuttered today until 3 p.m. local time to have a company-wide meeting about food safety, following the ongoing plague of outbreaks at its restaurants in recent months (which included E. Coli, Salmonella, and Norovirus). However, knowing that they are still a popular place for lunch despite the health concerns, they've decided to make it up those who couldn't have lunch today by offering a free burrito.

The company is offering a raincheck here as an apology for being closed during the heart of the lunch rush, and those who follow the prompt on the site can get a coupon for a free burrito for later in the week.

All you have to do is text "Raincheck" to 888-222 for the offer. The company will then text you back with a coupon to get a free burrito within the next few days.

The company closed for the meeting after several outbreaks in recent months, including a massive E. Coli outbreak late last year that affected several people in different states.

They were later hit with other health concern issues when a Salmonella outbreak in Minnesota was linked to the chain, as well as a norovirus outbreak at a Boston location.
