Now that Teresa Giudice is a free woman and her husband Joe Giudice is getting ready to serve his own time, the Bravo The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple has spoken out on one of the biggest rumors they faced while she was in jail last year.

Reports went around that Joe was cheating on Teresa while she was behind bars. Well Teresa cleared the air with People magazine Monday and made it clear that she isn’t buying the speculation.

“No woman has ever come up to me and said that my husband was having an affair with them. It’s sad that if there are any women around him people take pictures of him and sell the photos to a magazine. I feel bad for him.”

The reports got so bad that it claimed Joe’s alleged infidelity would lead to Teresa filing divorce papers. But it looks like those were false as well. She added that while the women in the photos were mysterious to fans, they were no stranger to her.

“Every photo that I see of him with other women I know who the women are. He could be out with friends that are single and you if they’re talking to girls, that doesn’t mean that Joe is doing anything just because a girl is sitting at the same table as them. So I feel bad for him in a way. Because the poor guy, you know, he’s not doing that.”

As for Joe, he said the rumors have caused him to be much more cautious with women in public. He now goes as far as declining to take photos with women so more rumors are not sparked.

“Our marriage has always been strong. We never had a problem with our marriage. But I definitely learned to appreciate her more not having her around for a year.”

Teresa also said the two have been married for 16 years.

“If we didn’t want to be around each other we could both go our separate ways.”
