In addition to facing speculation in regard to her Lyme disease disease diagnosis, the former model has been confronted with allegations of her children faking the illness--all while attempting to reclaim her health. Luckily, she isn't letting the ongoing questions take away from her motivation to spread awareness.

"A recent study indicated that chronic neurologic abnormalities may emerge anywhere from 1 month to 14 years after infection. Like syphilis, therefore, Lyme Borreliosis may remain latent and asymptomatic for a long period of time, despite having received long term antibiotic therapy. #WeMustFindACure."
