Stevie J took to Instagram amid the rumors that he and Cannon nearly came to blows because of Stevie J’s alleged past with Cannon’s estranged wife, Mariah Carey on Cannon's show Wild N Out this week.

He shared a snap of him and Cannon together and added the caption, “Much love to my bro @nickcannon had a blast at Wild N Out. Much respect to my sis @mariahcarey for always rockin with me no matter what. God bless!!”

His post comes just after he and his wife Joseline Hernandez made an appearance on Cannon’s hit series Wild N Out on MTV 2.

Word spread that their freestyle battle took an ugly turn when Stevie J revealed he had been intimate with Carey in the past. Cannon reportedly told Stevie J to worry about his own wife, who has been spotted getting extra close to rapper Rick Ross. The two guys are said to have then almost got into a fight before until security stepped in to stop it. As for Cannon, he hopped on Instagram to describe how he thinks this season of the show is going so far.
