Did Kristen Stewart Spread 'Poisonous Rumors' About Her Ex?

The actress has been known for dating her infamous ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson until they called it quits in 2012. Rumor had it she was dating her friend Alicia Cargile although that was never confirmed.

Neeson, on the other hand, was married to actress Natasha Richardson until she died nearly seven years ago.

The gossip of Neeson dating Stewart started when Jezebel pointed out that the two were apparently spotted in the same nightclub. There was also the comment from the Taken star saying he was seeing someone who people have probably heard of.

"I'd embarrass her if I said her name, she's incredibly famous," the actor said. "I'll have to do my best for her. It's amazing how far a simple bunch of freshly picked flowers will go in a lady's life, I find."

The public can relax at this point though because a spokesman for Neeson cleared up the rumor. As it turns out, it's not true and the theory is being called "stupid," according to Thursday's report from Yahoo!

Neeson's late wife died in March 2009 after receiving a head injury during a skiing lesson where she was later taken off life support. She and Neeson were married for 14 years.

As for Stewart, her love life still remains a mystery.
