According to a new report, Star Trek Beyond will be bringing back Hikaru Sulu's (John Cho) daughter, Demora.

William Shatner Willing To Play An "Old Captain Kirk" In Reboot?

Movie Pilot dug up on a few hints that were revealed during a behind the scenes video from the movie that showed Sulu's daughter, Demora's, picture. Demora first appeared in Star Trek: Generations (1994). Jaqueline Kim played the part of Sulu in Generations, but there is no telling if she will be returning to reprise the role.

Movie Pilot suggests that Demora will only make an cameo appearance in that picture, and perhaps not as an adult, as we saw her in Generations.

Entertainment Tonight had made an exclusive set visit to the filming of Star Trek Beyond earlier this year, revealing some interesting bits about changes in the Enterprise.

In the clip Cho spoke about how Sulu will miss his daughter on the spaceship.

"At the beginning of the movie, we're all homesick, we're all getting into our ruts and I think we've been around each other too long," he said. "Sulu has a heartache for his little baby. He brought his picture to his console, which technically, we've been saying, is unprofessional. It's in the way of the buttons."

But that's not the extent of Demora's role in the film; she will be the key to an interesting revelation, according to Cho.

"There is another revelation that you'll find out, in regards to this baby... but you'll have to wait to see the movie!" he said.

The movie will release on July 22.
