An estimated 4.7 magnitude earthquake erupted in the Anza area of Southern California Monday morning and was even felt in Anaheim, Orange County.

The tremble was felt at 9:55 a.m. PST, and the quake epicenter was 12 miles southeast of Anza and 26 miles southwest of Palm Desert, according to the Orange County Register. So far there have been no immediate reports of injury or major damage.

During a taping for the Tennis Channel, sportscaster Brett Haber suddenly jerked around while Tennis correspondent Neil Harman was speaking. The other three panelists kept talking as if nothing happened but the quake shook Haber.

After Harman finished speaking, Haber said, "I just have to interrupt you because those comments were so powerful, Neil, we actually just endured an earthquake."

USA Today Sports tennis writer Doug Robson, who didn't seem to notice the quake, wrote in an email, "Since I live in California I knew pretty quickly it was an earthquake and as we were on a flimsy set with an overhang I was getting ready to move to clearer ground if it intensified," according to USA Today.

Bob Dollar, a geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey, said the earthquake occured on one of the strands of the San Jacinto fault systems.
