Are Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright getting married? While the answer to that question may be "yes," an engagement isn't necessarily something fans will be seeing on Vanderpump Rules in the near-future.

Why 'Vanderpump Rules' Star Jax Taylor Was REALLY In Hawaii Last Week

During a new interview, Taylor admitted that marrying Cartwright "is definitely in the cards," but confirmed he's in no rush to walk down the aisle.

"Yes, in time. Pump the breaks a little bit," Taylor said with a laugh while chatting with E! News on Tuesday.

Cartwright appeared to be on the same page with Taylor, and told the outlet she'd like to get married some day, as well, but "not like now."

"Tom [Schwartz] and Katie [Maloney] still have to get married," Taylor pointed out. "Let's get that out of the way first, and then we'll discuss us...It's definitely in the cards, just we have one wedding to get through first."

Before tying the knot, Taylor said he has some growing up to do.

"I've gotta ease up on my drinking, obviously," he said after recalling his recent theft arrest in Hawaii (he stole a pair of sunglasses after drinking). "I just need to learn to say no sometimes."
