And we don’t expect anything less than amazing as he performs at the Oscars.

At the Brit Awards he jammed to his newest song The Hills and the audience and viewers were definitely pleased. The electrifying performance was simple and intimate but everything we love about The Weeknd. He passionately rang out his lyrics while the crowd was spotted jumping along. The audience let out a roaring cheer when he rang out his last note and thanked them.

He was fresh off the stage of the Grammys and while that performance had a little drama surrounding it, he rocked it nonetheless. Word spread that he was going to hit the stage with singer Lauryn Hill, but that was only speculation and he ended up performing solo. It was pretty similar to his Brit Awards performance.

He was also up for two Grammys, Record of the Year for his hit Can’t Feel My Face and Album Of The Year for his latest project Beauty Behind The Madness. Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk and Taylor Swift’s 1989 won those awards respectively.

So considering his latest two award performances were amazing, we’re expecting nothing less this time around. After all, it’s The Weeknd.
