Singer Katy Perry has reportedly signed a $2 million deal to write an autobiography, which is to be titled Part of Me.

The book, which will share the same title as her concert documentary that was released in 2012, is expected to discuss her failed marriage with comedic actor Russell Brand and share info on her current relationship with singer John Mayer.

The book was said to be an answer to Brand who said he will publish a new book, the third installment for his "Booky Wook" series, which will discuss his relationship with Perry.

According to azcentral.com, Brand said, "Maybe I'll wait until I get married again or have more children before I write any more. You can't write things about your life and not include things that happened in your life.''

Meanwhile, a source told The Sun that many publishers have been after Perry and she decided to write an autobiography so that people will get her side, not just Brand's side.

Perry has also been dealing with trying to sell the Hollywood home she and Brand bought when they were married. Perry has the title to the home and has been trying to sell is for $8 million, but will reduce the price to the mid-$7 million range, according to TMZ.
