Can fans expect things to get better or worse between Heidi Montag and Natalie Nunn on The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition?

Did Heidi Montag Throw Shade At Lauren Conrad On Twitter?

In the premiere of the Lifetime series, Montag really went at it with Nunn over comments about the former Hills star's previous cosmetic surgery during their time on reality series Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. But in an interview with Too Fab on Tuesday, Montag cleared up what happened during this dramatic ordeal.

"I love Natalie," Montag said. "We're really close, and then Marriage Boot Camp came out and she said some things about my surgery and I went 'Whoa.' And, to her right or whatever, we weren't so close then. I just wanted a heads up, like, 'Hey, I talked some crap about you, 'it's coming out' and I would have been fine. I completely took it way too far, I didn't talk to her, I blocked her number and I didn't talk to her, which wasn't right."

The reality star then went on about how the blood between her and Nunn isn't as bad as it sounds, and how it's important for them to stay connected.

"As Dr. Debbie tells me again, emotional cutoffs are never okay or appropriate and I think I did the same thing with Natalie [as my mom] because I've been so betrayed by friends on TV and I felt so upset because she's one of my closest friends," Montag noted. "So we wanna fight hard, fast, quick, get it over with and then we can be good the rest of the time."
