More is still coming out about WeTV’s Mary Mary star Tina Campbell and how she handled her husband, Teddy Campbell’s, shocking infidelity.

The Grio caught up with the gospel icon and reality star earlier this month and she revealed that the drama got much more worse than fans knew.

“I was suicidal and homicidal,” she confessed. “It wasn’t like, ‘I done lost my man I want to kill myself.’ I loved my husband, but I was like, ‘I can get another man.’”

She said that news of her husband cheating on her hit her the hardest as she realized her family had the potential to fall apart.

“It wasn’t about losing my man. I was like, ‘Okay, I’m a family woman, and I don’t even have one.’ My family was a complete lie.”

She said that the drama even impacted her faith at one point.

“I can’t do lying…So I’m not going to be a hypocrite and be mad at God and out there trying to share the Gospel and inspire people. So I didn’t want to do Gospel music no more,” she revealed.

But she said wanted to do more than just hurt herself after she realized, “All I got is my kids…[And] I’m not good to them because I’m sad, I’m broken, I’m insecure, I’m overprotecting them.”

She confessed she thought about taking action against Teddy and the other women involved.

“I was like, ‘Maybe I should take out these people who did me wrong and then take us out, and leave my husband here to figure it out, so that he can realize, ‘look what you did.’ I was just in a terrible, terrible place. But I told God, ‘I know I’m crazy and I know I’m all the way thrown off, but I don’t want to be like this. I want to forgive. I want to let this go.’”

And indeed she did. The two are now stronger than ever and Tina’s solo Gospel album that outlines her journey is topping the charts.
