Teddy Campbell might be the favorite husband on WeTV’s Mary Mary after he got his wife, Tina Campbell, together on last night’s episode when her drama with her sister Erica Campbell went too far.

Teddy urged Tina to watch Erica host the annual Dove Awards, even though the two weren’t on the best terms at the time. Interestingly enough, Tina and Erica were at odds because their sister Goo Goo Atkins left Tina’s tour to go style Erica for the Dove Awards. In her defense, she did agree to do the show for Erica before signing on to traveling with Tina. Erica and Tina got into a huge blowup about it at the beginning of the episode.

So by the time Erica was set to host, Tina was definitely unbothered. She refused to watch and told her husband, Teddy, that she needed to focus on getting ready for her next show. But Teddy wouldn’t let that slide at all. He told Tina that they needed to put their drama behind them and she should support Erica for her big night.

Tina ended up watching and it’s a good thing that she did. Because Erica had a moment where she broke down backstage after she realized that her pride and focus on outfit and wig changes for the night took precedence over what was really important. She won an award and decided to reveal her struggle during her acceptance speech.

Tina called her as soon as she left the stage and the two were able to bury their drama and remember the importance of their sisterhood— thanks to Teddy!
