Jamie Dornan is one Hollywood star who doesn't make red carpet appearances unless he absolutely has to, but it looks like he might make one exception here.

In fact, there's speculation that he and his 50 Shades of Grey co-star Dakota Johnson might make a very special appearance together at this year's MTV Movie Awards.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, the onscreen duo is up for the "Best Kiss" award at the show. They are up against some of the biggest stars in the celebrity world right now, including Amy Schumer & Bill Hader in Trainwreck, Leslie Mann & Chris Hemsworth in Vacation, Margot Robbie & Will Smith in Focus, Morena Baccarin & Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool and Rebel Wilson & Adam DeVine in Pitch Perfect 2.

The awards ceremony might put Dornan in better spirits after he and Johnson won a handful of awards at the Razzies, which are considered the anti-Oscar awards, last month. Dornan won the "Worst Actor" award while Johnson went home with the "Worst Actress" prize.

The co-stars are currently filming the sequel to the film, 50 Shades Darker in Vancouver.

So far, Dornan himself has not made any comments about the MTV Movie Awards nod or if he'll be showing up for the awards ceremony.
