With less than a month to go until the return of AMC's Mad Men, many fans of the show have been unsuccessfully flocking for spoilers courtesy of the series' lid-tight gag policy.

The Atlantic Wire reported that the creator of the series, Matthew Weiner, is notorious for keeping secrets of the show close to himself both on the set and in the general public.

While the show has somewhat stayed true to this plan moving forward, advertisements, pictures and promos of the upcoming season are starting to flood the Internet, leaving Mad Men loyalists even more thirsty for answers prior to its season six return on April 7.

The biggest hint on what's to come has been through the season six poster artwork of Brian Sanders, which is "as packed with imagery as Michaelangelo's The Last Judgement - at least by basic-cable standards," reported the website.

Esquire speculated that the Don Draper (Jon Hamm) promo image may insinuate that he is actually Dick Whitman since the latter had stolen Draper's identity during the Korean War.

Since Weiner previously stated that the series will have a "seven series cutoff," The Atlantic Wire has reason to believe it's a strong possibility.

On the other hand, Darren Franich from Entertainment Weekly suspected that the policemen in the promo picture could have something to do with the evolving American landscape.

Franich had written the following based on where season five had ended, which was in 1967:

"Assuming this next season follows the usual pace of Mad Men's history, we might be entering 1968 - a turbulent year in American history that saw violence and unrest across the country, not to mention - Potential Spoiler Alert For People Who Should Really Read More History Books - the assassinations of Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy."

Mad Men is set to make its season six return on Sunday, April 7 with a two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. EDT on the AMC network.
